The HOY Weee! 12 Balance Bike is the perfect introduction to cycling for little riders taking their first steps towards two-wheeled independence. Inspired by Olympic champion Sir Chris Hoy, this lightweight balance bike has been designed to help children develop essential balance, coordination and steering skills while having fun. Its durable nylon-reinforced composite frame and fork provide a strong yet manageable construction, weighing just 3.86kg to make it easier for young riders to control. With 12-inch wheels, a low frame design and child-friendly geometry, the Weee! encourages children aged 2 and over to build confidence at their own pace.
Unlike traditional pedal bikes, the HOY Weee! allows children to propel themselves along using their feet, gradually learning to balance and glide without the added complexity of pedals or gears. The low standover height makes it easier for little riders to get on and off, while the 380mm aluminium handlebars provide comfortable steering control. Soft comfort grips are designed for smaller hands, and the 12x1.75-inch semi-slick tyres provide smooth rolling performance across pavements, paths and park surfaces. This simple and intuitive design helps children focus on developing the fundamental skills needed to progress towards their first pedal bike.
Practical details make the HOY Weee! an excellent companion for everyday adventures. The specially designed HOY junior saddle features an integrated parent carry handle, making it easy to pick up and transport when little legs need a rest. Durable aluminium rims and hubs provide dependable rolling performance, while the lightweight composite construction makes the bike convenient for parents to carry and store. Recommended for children with a minimum inside leg of 30cm and a minimum height of 85cm, the Weee! combines comfort, simplicity and thoughtful design to make those first cycling experiences enjoyable and rewarding. Backed by a three-year manufacturer's warranty, it is a fantastic starting point for a lifetime of cycling.
