The Fox Rampage RS Abyss Helmet represents the evolution of the legendary Rampage Pro Carbon, designed to provide elite protection for demanding downhill runs. This helmet is equipped with the Mips® Integra Split system, which is engineered to reduce rotational motion during an impact by absorbing and redirecting forces that would otherwise be transmitted to the brain.
The construction features a lightweight carbon fibre shell and a 2-layer EPS liner, which helps absorb impacts at both high and low speeds. For improved airflow, the helmet includes channeled EPS to ensure better ventilation during intense rides. Comfort is prioritised with a removable, washable Ionic+® liner and cheek pads, which are antimicrobial, manage odour, and wick moisture away from the head.
Practical Features
The helmet includes a two-position visor that is GoPro® compatible, allowing for easy camera mounting. It meets a wide range of safety standards, including EN 1078, CPSC 1203, AS/NZS 2063, ASTM F1952, and the NTA-8776 E-bike helmet certification standard.
Care and Materials
To maintain the helmet's finish, avoid exposure to aerosol sprays such as bug repellent and sunscreens, as these can cause the surface to peel.
